Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actor, was born on the 1st of October 1995 in Berkeley, California. She is an actor who has been featured in Choices 2010. The Heart and Other Small Shapes 2006 and Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers. Both are careers she's been pursuing. In 1985 she debuted in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo (1988), and also was one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, directed by Moretti in 1989, played her character as Nanni Moretti's daughter. Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film which launched Asia's career path. Asia was able to transition from young girl roles to complex and mature roles. It was a huge success during the Cannes International Film Festival. The film, Trauma (1993) the actress made her debut with her father, well-known Italian filmmaker Dario Argento (her mother is one of the most beloved actors of Argento, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl on the lookout for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is her third film together with the director's father. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze showed Asia's absorption style in performing. In 1993, she portrayed Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, a role so complex that she won the David di Donatello prize for the best actress. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot. It was a role that was internationally acclaimed. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she received a prize from David di Donatello. Asia took up directing as an occupation in the year 1994. The first film she directed was Prospettive. The film she created about her dad was followed by Abel/Asia (1998) the film which won an award at the Rome Film Festival and was each directed from 1996 to 1998. Asia produced her first film in Scarlet Diva (2000). The film was a collaboration with Asia with screenwriter/actor Linda McArtney. The film was released in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. In Brooklyn, New York it was awarded an award at the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou, her first child was born in the year 2001. She directed a number of music videos. The actress starred alongside Jean-Marc Barre on The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she appeared with Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action thriller. Asia also wrote some short stories which have been published by many magazines.
